Nau mai, haere mai - welcome to Whaiora
Our vision: Wairarapa – He Waiora |Wairarapa – A Place of Wellness
We can support you and your whānau to achieve this vision by walking beside you on a path to wellness.
Whaiora offers a wide range of kaupapa hauora Māori services to our Wairarapa community, including:
- a Very Low Cost Access Medical Centre for our Masterton residents;
- a range of health and social services aimed to support the wellness of our Wairarapa communities. We provide these services to clients living between Pukaha Mt Bruce and the Remutaka Ranges, and we can visit you in your home (at no cost to you).
Kaikōkiri waiora, our wellness professionals, include a team of GPs, registered nurses, qualified social workers, educators and community health workers. You will receive quality health, education and/or social services from our team of caring professionals who will support you to become well and stay well.
Whaiora's services are private and confidential. We support your choices to improve and manage your health. Sometimes this means working with you to create a wellness plan. We can also help you access a range of external support services.
While we operate from a uniquely Māori base, our services are available to all.
